Discounted Rates to the Annual Convention
Membership in the NIOP grants the entire member company access to discounted registration rates to the Annual Convention. At the 2025 Convention, you can expect to engage with attendees representing every link of the supply chain and to learn from expert presentations on current events impacting the industry.
The convention format is intentionally designed for networking and individual meetings, guaranteeing connections with current and future clients.
Members Only Educational Courses
NIOP offers 2 members-only educational courses – the Introduction to the Oilseed Industry Training (OIT) and Oils University. Both of these courses are tremendously popular, historically selling out year after year. They both offer member-only, peer-to-peer exchange, while learning and networking.
Stay Connected Year Round
NIOP is committed to helping our members stay connected to one another 365 days a year! All NIOP members have access to the membership directory – our online database of all members, their contact information, and their specific role at their company. The membership directory ensures that our members can correspond and work together even when they’re not together in person.
Annual Scholarship Program
NIOP is proud to support our members’ children through scholarships for higher education opportunities. Through our Albert F. Mogerley Scholarship, we annually award up to four scholarships to deserving children of our members to pursue any form of higher education. We see this program as a way to give back to our members as well as build the next generate of leaders and professionals.
How to Apply for a Membership
NIOP membership is open to any association, firm, corporation or individual commercially engaged in activities pertaining to oils and related substances/services who agrees to support the mission and purposes of the Institute.
Membership dues are $1,500 (US) per company, per calendar year.
