Job Title Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Procurement, you will build category strategy for assigned supplies, materials or services following approved buying programs using the established procurement policy ensuring the needs of internal customers are met.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage categories to help reduce potential supply and quality issues
  • Provide support for sourcing materials or services, savings projects, and procurement strategies
  • Monitor data to ensure supply at competitive market prices
  • Provide updates to communicate changes in pricing, market data, and savings projects
  • Manage MRO data across multiple systems, including SAP, EAM, CVEND/Enterworks, CMD, Tungsten, Oracle and Clarizen
  • Maintain accurate and complete contract records
  • Monitor supplier quality and service performance with internal customers
  • Champion corrective actions and improvement projects with facilities, quality assurance, R&I and suppliers
  • Foster relationships with partners, understand goals and needs and work towards strategic solutions
  • Provide plant support/ad hoc training to plant MRO buyers
  • Lead and implement process improvements, savings projects, working capital, inventory plans and other MRO team responsibilities as assigned

Position Qualifications

  • 2+ years in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Commodity Trade or Finance roles
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in influence management, project management and team building skills
  • Decision-making proficiency
  • Present complex material in both small and large group settings
  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel – formula relationships, pivot tables).
  • Project management experience in a corporate environment
  • MRP experience
  • Minimal travel

Job Title Manager Risk Management

 

Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, you will manage risk within commodity procurement through execution of derivative strategies within the commodity being purchased. You will ensure the development of risk strategies and aligning them with the brands, budgets, and overall corporate strategies. You will evaluate Conagra’s risk profile according to commodity, brand, or platform to help develop the most suitable strategy. We ask that you have a solid fundamental understanding of commodity markets, with a focus in grains, with the desire to gain knowledge in oilseeds, dairy, livestock, energy, packaging, and the macro-economy as it relates to Conagra procurement. You will become proficient in futures, options, and over-the-counter instruments to support underlying strategies.

Job Title Manager Procurement

Reporting to the Senior Director of Procurement, you will provide leadership in the Flavors, Seasonings, Spices, Texturants, Components, Dehydrated Vegetables and Vitamins spaces for Conagra Brands. You will manage Conagra’s sourcing strategy in these categories. You will also work with R&D, Plant Operations, Brand, Demand & Supply Planning, Warehousing, Transportation and other internal partners to implement the category strategy. We ask that you understand sourcing, markets, operations, and inventory position management. You will manage a team and lead them through their own category tasks.

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage categories as assigned and manage direct reports and their categories
  • Jointly build sourcing strategies in the assigned categories in collaboration with essential functions across the Enterprise
  • Establish strategic relationships with the supply base, to achieve cost savings opportunities across the business
  • Negotiate, contract, and implement preferred supplier agreements
  • Lead teams in sourcing projects
  • Research market dynamics, cost drivers, supplier business models, and historical spend to enhance future negotiations for assigned categories
  • Provide clear position reporting. Promote ease of use of volume estimates
  • Draft Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Proposal (RFP), and conduct associated analysis
  • Work with Operations and Brands to resolve all supply chain issues
  • Improve cost savings through continuous improvement activities
  • Manage supplier relationships and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to evaluate and report performance
  • Ensure continuity of services for assigned categories by working with suppliers and managing supplier performance
  • Understand advanced sourcing practices and their application
  • Implement supplier strategy using industry modeling and appropriate metrics across Conagra Brands

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Vice President of IT will be responsible for the overall oversite of the IT efforts of Colonial Group.  The role will lead a seasoned and experienced IT team of more than 20 professionals that currently supports over 2,000 employees across nine core operating companies (and a parent company) utilizing dozens of systems.

The ideal candidate will bring decades of direct experience as a CIO or Vice President of IT managing complex IT environments including development, support, and strategy.  The role will augment and mentor existing IT leadership to become strategic partners of the business.
