We are not able to host the convention as we have lost 7 out of 11 of our speakers and the integrity of the convention is eroding as attendees cancel.
However, in an effort to mitigate penalties with the hotel, at this point, the NIOP is willing and plans to host a networking event at JW Marriott over the convention dates. This will allow members and attendees who still wish to take advantage of face-to-face meetings with their customers and clients to do so. NIOP will provide some food and receptions during this time as well. For members and attendees who take advantage of this new formatted meeting, your registration fees will be used to help pay the organization’s costs.
Daily, NIOP will provide an updated list of attendees as well as an updated list of those who have cancelled beginning this Thursday, March 5.
For those who no longer are able or willing to attend this new format, the NIOP will refund your registration fee (minus any credit card fee or wire fee that has been already deducted by the bank) or credit for your registration for the 2021 Convention provided you let us know IMMEDIATELY (by close of business on Thursday, March 5).
