Arizona’s Open Spaces Offer Safer Spaces for the 2021 NIOP Convention

By January 5, 2021Events
Sweeping vistas framed by spectacular mountain ranges. More than 325 days of sunshine each year. Outdoor sightseeing galore, spacious indoor and outdoor venues for hosting safe, social distanced meetings and events. There’s no better place to spread out — than the 2021 NIOP Convention to be held in Tucson, Arizona.  (Picture above NIOP’s 2021 host hotel:  the JW Marriott Starr Pass, Tucson, AZ.)
Thanks to near perfect weather, being outdoors is the norm. In fact, the majority of Arizona’s hotels and attractions offer outdoor and hybrid spaces that make it easy to keep your distance while experiencing the best of the Grand Canyon state up close and personal.  (Picture above is the type of setting for the NIOP Conversation Cafe.)
Outdoor spaces for NIOP events include lush resort patios, poolside options, a cowboy cookout under the stars, morning hikes on high Sonoran Desert trails(literally out the front door of the JW Marriott Starr Pass — free guided hikes for NIOP convention/hotel attendees and guests).  And, new this year, you can sign up for an open-air four-wheel-drive ride into Red Rock backcountry to see ancient Indian ruins and the beautiful countryside (offered on Sunday and includes lunch).
NIOP’s Emmett Cornibe Memorial Golf Tournament is set for Sunday, March 14th.  We currently have 36 golfers signed up to play on Sunday, March 14th.

Sign up/registration is as easy as an email to leigh@niop.org.
