Effective September 27, 2021 and JUST IN TIME for the AFOA Conference in Nashville, Amcom is pleased to welcome Dan to our team.
Dan has experience in the Fats and Oils market in his career having worked at Tomen America (Chickasha) handling cottonseed oil, CBI Global (Cooperative Business International) who administered US government AID programs and cash trading in specialty grains and export oils that were used for monetization.
At The Wenger Group, Dan was a buyer for fats and oils blends for animal feeds and was also buying and selling soybean oil, meat and bone meal in the US domestic feed markets with a specialty expertise in organics. Dan as well has a keen understanding of the world markets; at Keefe Consulting, Dan was a buyer and seller of oils in the international markets and has handled large quantities of (mainly) soybean oil commercially and for the AID programs.

Daniel Keefe is a seasoned commodity trader with oils, fats, oilseeds, and protein meal trading experience with proven success across international and US markets serving clients including agribusiness firms, trade associations, non-profit organizations (NGOs), and government agencies.
With nearly three decades of experience across various sectors of the global commodity trade industry, Dan has built up broad expertise in logistics, procurement, sales, organic products supply chains, market analysis, risk management, and building sustainable and cost-efficient supply chains from farm to table. Dan has bought and sold commodities in over 20 countries globally in the feed, food, oleochemical and fuel sectors giving him a well-rounded background that will meet the full scope of demands of our customers.
