Just before yearend, the NIOP staff received a phone call to let us know that Columbus Vegetable Oils would sponsor lunch on both Monday and Tuesday at the 2021 Convention. This sponsorship was unexpected since the company had already signed up for a golf hole sponsorship.
During a recent Convention Committee meeting, Chairman Liam Rogers asked his committee to help share the need and opportunity to be a sponsor of the 2021 Convention even if a member’s company was unable to attend due to travel restrictions.
This message resonated with committee member John Healy who took the request to his company’s president, Paulette Gagliardo who jumped at the chance and stepped up! The following is her response when NIOP’s Executive Director thanked her for “such a large show of leadership and support.”
