9:45 – 10:25 am   Education Session:  Global Money/The Way Managed Money Flows/Trading with China– Ron Lawson, Logic Advisors

10:30 – 10:45 am        Networking Break

10:50 am – 11:10 am   Education Session:  John Dillard, NIOP’s General Counsel, will present a regulatory update on how federal agencies are adapting their approach to new biotechnology (gene editing, CRISPR) and an explanation of the new GMO labeling “Bioengineered” standard.

11:15 am – 11:40 am       Education Session:  The Role of Gene Editing in Developing Oils for Healthier Foods will be presented by Li Yi and Ron Heddleson, from Calyxt.

11:45 am – 12:10 pm Education Session:  John Cusick with

Jacobsen will help “food people” know and understand what “fuel people” are doing with feedstocks.

12:15 pm- 1:00 pm Education Session: Transportation Logistics . . . What’s the Future Look Like and How Can We Help?  Speaker to be announced soon.
